Biography
Edris Abdifard, MScN, BScN, is a critical care nursing leader and Head Nurse of a 21-bed ICU at Khatam al-Anbiya Hospital, Tehran. With over nine years of experience, he specializes in wound care and nursing education, notably validating the Persian Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool to enhance nurse performance. Edris has eight peer-reviewed publications (158 citations, h-index: 6) and authored Advanced Dressings and Innovative Technologies in Wound Care (2025). As a member of AACN, SCCM, ILF, ISTAP, WHO, and ESICM, he advances global and U.S. wound care standards, aligning with CDC priorities for patient safety and nursing education.
