Andreyanna Ivanchenko has completed her Ph.D. (1985) and second dissertation (2017) in psychology at the Kyiv Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and obtained the Doctor of Psychological Sciences title. Her current academic position is as a Full Professor at Kyiv M. P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University (Department of Practical Psychology) and Kharkiv Institute “Interregional Academy of Personnel Management” (Department of Psychology), Ukraine. She has over 40 years of academic experience teaching psychology and foreign languages (Italian, English, and Russian as a foreign language) at the university, has published over 130 scientific papers in reputable journals, and has presented over 50 papers at international conferences and congresses around the world.
Her current scientific activities include being a member of international Editorial Board of Brazilian scientific Journal «Revista Italiano UERJ», of Ukrainian scientific Journal «Psychological Journal» and Canadian multidisciplinary scientific Journal «Fundamental and Applied Researches in Practice of Leading Scientific Schools».
In 2005 she became Reiki Master/Teacher (Teacher of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels) of theoretic-practical self-rehabilitation bases according to ancient-Eastern psychological-philosophical tradition “Usui Reiki Ryoho”; her studying course was fulfilled in 2002-2004 in Venice, Italy, taught by two Reiki Master/Teachers – Italian and Japanese.
Her research interests cover varied aspects: Psychology of Creativity as a vital dynamic orientation, Victimology, Crisis-extreme Psychology, psychosomatics, stress-resistance, psycho-bioenergy, coping means, ancient-Oriental arts of body self-healing, psycholinguistics, Sport Psychology, Political Psychology.
