Biography

Ahuva Even-Zohar, Ph.D., is a social worker and senior lecturer at the School of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, Ariel University, Israel. As a social worker, I worked for many years with older adults in the community. At the university, I teach subjects related to psychosocial issues and intervention methods with older people and their families, old age policy and community services for older adults, management and operation of institutions for older adults, methods of intervention with individuals and families, and intervention with families in extreme distress. The research focuses on intergenerational relationships in older families, the quality of life of older adults, needs and solutions for the older population, online health services for older adults, ageism, sexuality in later life, and poverty.
