Sustainable Healthcare Practices in Nursing is the management and reduction of healthcare environmental footprint whilst maintaining a high standard of care. At the 4th Edition World Nursing Science Conference 2025, this session will explore nurses as pioneers in eco-efficient practices such as waste minimization, energy, and recycling. Participants will learn how to carry out green projects in the clinical setting, create healthier patient environments, and adapt and respond to the global need for green health care. In this Session, the substantial contribution of nurses in support of environmentally sustainable behavioral practices in line with international biodiversity sustainability priorities is highlighted.
