Rehabilitation Nursing

Rehabilitation Nursing is committed to preparing patients with the means to regain and reach independence from surgery, disease, or trauma. In this session at the 4th Edition World Nursing Science Conference (2025), interest in nursing care for the disabled, chronically ill, and post-operative conditions will be focused upon. During the conference, participants will be given education on the role rehabilitation nurses play in designing individual case plans, how much mobility can be improved, how much pain can be relieved, and how to educate patients and families to perform high-quality self-management interventions. Focusing on recovery and quality of life, this talk will illustrate the role of rehabilitation nursing in the change in care from problem acute management to long-term self-determination for patients' well-being.
