Geriatric and Elderly Care Nursing

Geriatric and Elderly Care Nursing is intended to provide high-quality care to older people, manage chronic conditions, and improve quality of life. In this session, at the 4th Edition World Nursing Science Conference 2025, the topics will be age-related health problems (dementia, gait disturbance, and frailty). Participants will learn approaches to enhancing the quality of life of elders by focusing on their physical, emotional, and social needs, on creating safe living areas, and on the family's education on elderly care. Due to the increase in the global aging population, this section will highlight the critical role geriatric nurses play in the development of independence and the promotion of good health in older generations.
