Emergency Nursing and Ambulatory Care Nursing

Emergency Nursing

Emergency nursing is a type of nursing that aims to tackle emergency conditions and provide care to patients affected by these conditions of emergencies. These emergency conditions can be severe clinical issues or trauma. Emergency room (ER) nurses have to be adaptive during urgency and smoothly alleviate pain, thus stabilizing patients' conditions. They are usually employed in critical sectors like hospitals and clinical departments.

Ambulatory care nursing

When patients are not facing acute conditions and do not require hospitalization, they can't avail themselves of a particular type of nursing called ambulatory care nursing. As the conditions are mild, nurses can handle large volumes of patients within a short duration. They include various duties like medication administration and wound care.
